Legal Services Director, Peninsula, UK
Following initial qualification as a Barrister, James began his legal career working in Criminal Practice. He joined Peninsula in 2009 and quickly progressed from preparing cases to representation of Peninsula’s clients in Employment Tribunals throughout the UK. Following his cross-qualification in 2013, James became Peninsula’s first in-house Solicitor and was integral in the development of our Trainee Solicitor Scheme. As Legal Services Director, James is responsible for the entirety of Peninsula’s Litigation function which handles around 1,500 new employment tribunal instructions each year. James regularly features in the media speaking on all aspects of employment law.
